What is the deductible?
With the replacement vehicle, you’re fully insured on the road again. All our vehicles are covered by comprehensive (all-risk) insurance and include liability coverage for any damage you may cause to third parties. Coverage for damage to or theft of our vehicle is also included. All of this is subject to a non-waivable deductible. This means that in the case of non-recoverable damage, your financial liability is limited to this amount. Only in cases of negligence or breach of contract can you be held liable for the actual damage.
How long can I use the replacement vehicle?
The replacement vehicle must be returned to the Logicx location on the date and time stated in the rental agreement. If no end date is specified in the agreement, your leasing company or fleet manager will inform you shortly.
I no longer need the replacement car. What should I do?
We recommend that you contact the organization that arranged the replacement car for you. They will cancel the reservation.
What is a rental day?
A rental day equals 24 hours. This 24-hour period begins when the rental starts. We understand that certain circumstances may cause you to return the vehicle a bit later. That’s why Logicx generally allows a 30-minute grace period. If the car is returned after this grace period, an additional day will be charged.
Can I reduce the deductible amount?
Within the Netherlands, we offer you the option to further reduce the standard deductible for a fixed daily fee.
When a location employee handles the vehicle handover, you can indicate that you would like to make use of this option. For customers with a business agreement (e.g., lease drivers), reducing the deductible is not possible.
Please note that this insurance only applies if the vehicle is used in accordance with the General Rental Terms and Conditions. The reduced deductible does not apply in the event of theft and/or damage to parts.
